To celebrate Halloween, we did the scariest thing we could think of! We brought DTRPG back from the dead... Logan, Carlota, John, and Anova have to deal with some Mr. Bananas related shenanigans in this Halloween special!

Logan's Note: A DTRPG Halloween is kind of the epilogue/swan song to DarkTriforceRPG's original run. At this point, it had already been decided that the show would eventually be rebooted and Season 3 was finished being produced, which is referenced in this video. I think this video really took everything that was good about DTRPG and turned it to 11. It's funny and makes great use of everyone's characters and personalities, and uses the silly concepts to their fullest like ghosts, super powers, and Mr. Bananas. It being just a self contained thing really helped it I think, not having to worry about the canon standing of everyone or everything. It's kind of just like exactly what I pictured DTRPG like in my head if I didn't watch any episodes. It stars the core 4 who watched the show the most when I was making the first 2 seasons, uses settings from around Season 2, and plays into the kind of meta narrative the show has. Introducing Ethan was so much fun, and making him say the lines he has in this video was incredibly funny. I think it does kind of have the classic DTRPG anti-climax in it, but I think it honestly works this time around. While not REALLY a part of DTRPG classic proper, I'm glad that this is the send-off the show now has. Plans for the reboot have switched and changed so many times, and right now it's shaping up to really be it's own thing compared to the original. This video feels like the original conceptualized around 2020 when we were a lot better at making things in general and I love it for that. (1/13/26)
