Well here it is, the video that started it all - The Cinnamon Challenge! This video marked the first live action video to ever be posted on DarkTriforceFilms, before this I used the channel to upload my GoAnimate videos (which since have been deleted and lost to time), but since I had a decent following on GoAnimate and had other projects on the website with both Robert and Carlota, (which is what they're referring to when they say "from Flashbacks" and "from Terms of Use" which are also lost to time, I think, there may be recorded versions of Terms of Use somewhere) I thought we should do a sort of "face reveal" before I knew what a face reveal was. Of course, this was around the time that the Cinnamon Challenge was taking over social media, and after seeing some kids from our elementary school take the challenge on Facebook, we were like "well we gotta do it now too!" At the time, DarkTriforceFilms as it was on GoAnimate was really just me - and then Carlota and Robert helped out with the side projects that they refer too. So this was the first official time DarkTriforceFilms was more than just myself and we basically founded DarkTriforceFilms as it is today. We set up my old old iPod (with the just GREAT video quality) and had my mom hit record for us and then took the challenge. None of us did it that well and being kids, probably overreacted to try and make each other laugh. Much to the dismay of my mother who expresses her lament behind the camera. We must've exported this through iMovie, cause the file name is named "Cinnamon Challenge" but I don't remember doing that? Fun fact to end of with: There's a lost media video that Robert and I filmed this same day, I think shortly after taking this challenge where the entire thing was just that we brushed each other's teeth. Couldn't tell you why we did that, nor could I tell you if it was my idea or Robert's. But based on just the idea, I lean towards the latter. I eventually deleted it cause I thought it was embarrassing, but this one was just a beacon of coolness I guess. Special video though, I'm glad I never deleted it! Truly the most historical video in DarkTriforceFilms! To think we'd still be chuggin over 10 years later.
