Logan's Note: Narrator is a weird case of a video that we really just waited on until we could get it perfect. I had originally written the script in 2019, but we didn't get it off the ground filming wise until 2022. I think it's the biggest gap we've ever had in terms of script to filming? But then, that wasn't even the end of the story! We originally shot Narrator early in the year, I want to say maybe sometime in like March? We filmed in a parking garage at the airport since the video had to do with Kip catching a flight, but I had originally envisioned the video on a nice woodland path or something, but being it being March and Upstate New York being in the thralls of Winter still, the airport made more sense. I edited together a cut, and I hated it! (You can watch that version of the video HERE!) It just wasn't what I had envisioned at all, and instead of just giving up and uploading anyway, I really wanted to do the script justice because I thought it was a good script! So, I quietly scrapped the video and then come summer, it seemed like we had the perfect opportunity to get the video done properly. We went to a nice park, found a beautiful spot with a bench and reshot the entire thing. I love this version, and it really is exactly what I wanted the first time around. I love the fact that the car hitting Kip makes NO sense in this version as it would've had to driven out from the water in front of us instead of just being in a parking garage like in the original. | (4/6/2026)
