Logan's Note: Ripstik Randy Presents: Let It Rip - or as it's more often referred to now, just Ripstik Randy, was a video that I am still amazed came together in such a cohesive and easy to follow manner. One of our classic improv videos, nothing for this video was planned until about 10 minutes before we started filming. If I remember correctly, I don't even think Charles and John were at my house to film at all! But being all together we wanted to film something and I scrambled around in my room looking for some sort of inspiration while they jumped on my trampoline and there I found it - my brother's ripstik that I had somehow come into possession of. I ran outside and pitched the idea to Charles and John, and after a few minutes of costuming, we started filming. I don't know where we came up with the ultimate structure of the video with the reality show type interviews, but I love them so much. This video was one of the first to really take over as the main video we were known for after The Party Salesman, I would constantly be sent ripstik related content by friends and other people at our school for years after this. I don't regret it though I think this video is still so funny! We've wanted to make a sequel but this was like a miracle that perfectly fell into place with how we improved it and we haven't been able to do it again! It was also edited in like, one day or so as well - I remember we finished filming and I immediately began editing as Charles and John both started going to sleep (I think John slept on the couch I used to have in my room, so Charles must've been on the floor?) and it was uploaded like the next day. That did lead to mistakes like the fact we call it Radical Randy at the start which I just have neglected to fix. But either way, this is definitely one of my favorite and most iconic DarkTriforceFilms videos ever! | ​(sometime in 2020)
