Logan's Note: The Jetpack was our first ever SCRIPTED video on DarkTriforceFilms. Before this, everything we did was just made up on the spot. And while we would still continue to do that time to time, this kind of set us on a course of more structured videos. I remember printing the script out and feeling so official about it. We filmed on some sort of camcorder I probably got from my mom, upgrading from the iPod we had been filming everything else on. And since it was no longer all on my iPod, I used Windows Movie Maker for the first time to make my vision come together. It's honestly VERY BAD but it stays here as a historical landmark. The audio on the camera was terrible and it's hard to hear anything we say, I look AWFUL because I had messed up my face like a few weeks before this, and for some reason Windows Movie Maker exported it with a black box around it instead of filling the frame. No idea why! I am pretty happy with how some parts came out in this. The jetpack prop is very funny to me and kind of looks like something out of Kids Next Door. And for 2013, we did a good job at the off screen effect of me taking off at the end. Genuinely surprised it feels that convincing! Thumbnail art updated in 2022, text updated in 2026! (1/11/26)
